Demos
AMI's demos are Flash animations and applications that have been created to demonstrate the diversity of our VGK Platform. Contact us to see if we have a demo that runs on your specific system configuration.

LiveMobile Demo
LiveMobile is Animated Media's customizable native mobile application that manages video streams in a Flash UI. It can capture video, add photo and text annotations, save locally and selectively publish to websites for sharing. Only native apps can access a mobile devices' hardware functions like the camera and accelerometer. Go to the LiveMobile tab under our Products page to learn more. A video demo will be on our YouTube channel soon.

Implementing Flash Animations in 3D Scenes & on 3D Objects
This demo shows Flash animations on an OpenGL moving menu in a 3D scene. We focused on implementing this capability in menus, but the technology can be used throughout your UI in apps and games. The combining of 3D animation with Flash content (animations & video), where 3D objects move in 3D space with Flash content textured on the surfaces, brings an entire new capability to UI design. Animated Media has enabled countless design options by turning static, lifeless 2D user interfaces into vibrant and dynamic 3D user experiences. See http://youtu.be/lSHYGB2FRuY.

Bringing Flash to Life in 3D
This demo illustrates the use of AMI's VGK platform to enable Flash animations as a texture on 3D objects. We have imported a Collada 3D model and used Flash to apply animated clothing to it. The VGK platform supports running Flash in fully native apps with 3D GPU acceleration. This functionality can extend your UI and design options within a 3D world. See http://youtu.be/C_c3HL5PNwM.

VGK Platform Running on Nuvoton Hardware Demo
The demo shows Flash content (UI & animations) running on a low-power Nuvoton board, an ARM-based 240 MHz hardware system. The Nuvoton hardware is a low-cost platform for consumer devices such as game/media players and toys. See http://youtu.be/4tbrvPmVLhA.

3D Virtual World Demo
This Windows-based demo is only available in our Toronto office as it is a very complex implementation of our VGK platform. The demo illustrates using the VGK in a 3D virtual multi-floor environment to inform occupants what is happening when safety alarms are activated. The VGK supports multiple Flash animations representing different activation states of a speaker annunciation system. The demo loads CAD data and FlashObject positional data from a VGK SQL database, then populates the 3D virtual world. Flash animations can be used to represent fire alarm bells, strobe alarms, sprinklers, evacuation routes, and elevator status.
